Rae Martini selected as “NIKE 1-1 Art of Football” contest finalist.

SHOWstudio partners with NIKE to challenge established and emerging artists, designers and creatives to devise new work inspired by the relationship between art and football. team of 11 selected artists from around the world have been invited by SHOWstudio and Nick Knight to create new artwork that represents ‘the art of football’. The results will be shown at a prestigious exhibition in Basel during the city’s art fair in June 2008, coinciding with the launch of the European Football Championships. As an additional incentive, one final winner’s work will be featured on a new, limited edition series of Nike Dunks.

Rae, selected from the curators as one of the “1-1 associates”,  
presented “street play”,  created ad hoc for the contest and exhibition.

Nella stupenda cornice di Piazza del Campo a Siena ISA supporta un evento unico. Mercoledì 23 aprile a partire dalle 10:00 si terrà una sessione di live painting con alcuni dei più quotati artisti sulla scena. L’azione si inserisce nel contesto del Progetto di educazione alla pace e alla differenza promosso dal Comune di Siena.
