Rae Martini's photography is a record of how much sophisticated matter the natural temporal sequence offers us. There are complex surfaces on which the decades vibrate, generating textures and sectors created by time that automatically sculpts a layered self-portrait through the stratigraphy. The author's photographs are complementary to his work on canvas or paper, and anticipate the vast concept on which the Modular and Systems works are based.
